PoisonousWorm
Ядовитый червь
Plague Wardactive
Poisonous Worm summons a Plague Ward to fight alongside him. At 3★ he summons 2 wards instead of 1, the summons last 30 / 30 / 20 s, cooldown 4 / 4 / 6 s.
Role: a mid-priced ranged summoner who belongs behind your frontline. The wards soak enemy attention and add extra damage, which keeps him useful from the early game into the midgame. He also fills Beast, Insectoid and Warlock synergies.

Synergies
Synergy effect:
(2) Death rattle: when there are allied duplicates on the field and an allied non-Insectoid piece dies, 1 Insectoid Heir is generated, based on the highest cost among the living duplicates, lasting 10–20 seconds.
(4) Death rattle: when there are allied duplicates on the field and an allied Insectoid piece dies, 1 Insectoid Heir is generated, based on the highest cost +1 among the living duplicates, lasting 10–20 seconds.
An Insectoid Heir is a random Insectoid piece; its attack is 100% of the corresponding piece, it takes 100% damage and has no synergy bonuses. Several triggers can stack.
How to play
Insectoid is a summoning synergy that turns losses into reinforcements: a piece's death spawns a temporary Heir as long as identical heroes stand on the board. (2) is reached with mid-cost heroes in the mid game and (4) with the expensive ones closer to the end, and both thresholds stack, giving heirs for regular pieces and for the Insectoids themselves. The synergy works best in rosters with duplicates and a sturdy front line so the heirs get to use their time.
Synergy effect:
(2) Allied attack +10%.
(4) Allied attack +35%.
(6) Allied attack +35%. When dealing physical damage, applies 10% physical vulnerability to enemy pieces, up to 10 stacks.
Physical vulnerability: all physical damage taken is increased. Beast synergy effects can be inherited by summoned units.
How to play
Beast is a straight attack boost for the whole board. Three heroes at 1 gold reach (2) in the first rounds, and (4) with its solid attack increase comes together in the mid game with mid-cost heroes. (6) needs the expensive pieces and adds physical vulnerability, so your fighters and shooters hit harder and harder as the fight goes on. Since the bonuses are inherited by summons, the synergy pairs well with any heroes that call creatures.
Synergy effect:
(2) Allied pieces gain +10% basic attack lifesteal and +10% spell lifesteal.
(4) Allied pieces gain +30% basic attack lifesteal and +30% spell lifesteal.
(6) Allied pieces gain +30% basic attack lifesteal and +30% spell lifesteal. Death rattle: every time any piece dies, the allied Warlock with the lowest health percentage restores 30% of its maximum health.
Class trait: at the start of the battle, Warlocks convert 25% of their health into 50% mana.
How to play
Warlocks are a sustain synergy built on lifesteal: from (2) allies heal through attacks and abilities, (4) makes the effect noticeable in drawn-out fights, and (6) adds the death rattle — healing the weakest Warlock whenever anything dies on the board. The class assembles gradually: cheap heroes give you (2) early, while the higher thresholds are closed by mid- and high-cost heroes in the mid and late game. Warlocks are a good support for any fighters that need to stay alive longer.
Lore
hero story
I
In the late tranquil night, a small worm was writing his diary:
"I heard from the worms close to Spider Queen, who are a bit smarter than me, that other races outside Fog Forest, those with little bird feathers on their arms who have thought about moving here, can write. That is to say, they draw things in their heads onto something, to record things from their minds."
"Writing is not much of my type, but it's a good practice. So I've decided to write down what I do every day from now on. Until one day I could not remember anything I have done, I'll open and read it."
"It was another warm day in the Fog Forest and the damp swamp was my favourite spot. Oh no, my favourite spot should still be the place near Spider Queen."
"My whole world has never been the same since the beautiful Spider Queen kissed me the other day! As they seed, the Spider Queen has awakened my consciousness and possessed my heart, and I can truly feel and face myself now."
"I am now the leader of Spider Queen's guards, and I feel happy."
II
The Fog Forest, once far from the Middle Earth, has also witnessed the appearance of mutated Insectoids recently. The busy little worm has finally sat down and written a new diary:
"When Spider Queen heard that I was writing a diary, she taught me a few days of writing lessons. They told me it was 'said' not 'seed' but I still think my 'seed' is better."
"This morning I led my companions to explore the edges of the increasingly dangerous forest, wiping out some mutated worms. These mutated guys came with purpose, possessing a strange power in their bodies. Those guards who got too close were affected, left weakened and unconscious, as if they were being melted within their bodies."
"When I returned to Incubation Cliff, I could sense that some of my fellow guards were feeling frightened. But most of them were still determined to guard the Fog Forest. And so am I. No matter what happens, I will guard the Spider Queen and our homeland."
"Some people see this disaster as an 'insectoid plague', but I've heard that it wasn't our fault in the first place. I can't understand why, but I will wipe out any nasty mutated worms, along with those annoying monsters."
"After all, I am the coolest and most handsome leader of Spider Queen's guards."
III
"My dear diary, it's been a long time, and I'm lucky to be back alive to write. Thanks to Fog Forest, Spider Queen and all my friends."
"It wasn't the troublesome mutated insectoids that got me this time, but that monster that has been invading the forest recently. I accidentally fell into his trap with some of my companions. It took me ages to escape."
"After the tough escape from the monster, it was a blessing in disguise. I used to create poison, but now I carry poison all over my body and can spit out poisonous balls. The enemy should be no match for me."
"It's just that I look so ugly now […] how am I going to explain myself in front of Spider Queen?"
"I wish she was still willing to kiss me as I am now."
"Although natural disaster always tricks insectoids, I will never leave the job of guarding Fog Forest to anyone else. I'll say it loud to everyone: My majesty Spider Queen, I will always be your mighty guard!"
