Grimtouch
Касание тьмы
Ink Splashactive battlecry, area in front
Grimtouch unleashes a trail of ink that applies Ink Mark to the pieces caught in its path. Marked enemies lose 20% / 30% / 50% attack speed and mana gain rate for 10 s.
Role: a cheap back-line support that slows enemy attacks and casts the moment he hits the board. Best in the early and mid game, and a handy filler for Demon and Wizard synergies.

Synergies
Synergy effect:
(1) The effect requires exactly one allied demon on the field. Demon Power: basic attacks of allied demons are treated as pure damage. Each Demon Power stack increases the pure damage by 15%, up to 7 stacks (105%).
Demon Power: stacks are counted in real time and update whenever Demons die, are summoned, revive, transform or fall under enemy control. Identical Demons now grant stacks too: if two Hell Knights activate the synergy at the start of battle, each gets 2 stacks, and after one dies 1 stack remains. Zelatun's (Fel Titan) summons are counted separately by the summoned Demon's name: two Zelatuns — 2 stacks, a third one — 3, while a summoned Fallen Witcher gets its own 1 stack. When Demon and Witcher synergies are both active, the count includes all allied Demons and all enemy Witchers — the total number, not the number of different Demon types, up to 7 stacks. The current stack count is shown on the synergy icon.
How to play
Demon is a damage synergy that works from a single piece: pure damage ignores armor and magic resistance, so one demon with attack items can become the board's main damage source. There are many heroes at different costs, so a suitable demon is available at any stage of the game, from a cheap one in the first rounds to an expensive one at the end. The synergy is most often used as a single-piece splash alongside another main build.
Synergy effect:
(2) Synergies that already have 3 or more pieces count as one piece more (2 stays 2): 5 Mages + 2 Wizards = 6 Mages, 3 Half-Orcs = 4. This also applies to Wizards themselves, but not to Druids.
(4) Activating a synergy requires 1 fewer piece; the board must contain at least 4 unique pieces. If a placed piece has only one active race or class synergy (not counting the Wizard synergy), the highest tier of that synergy is activated immediately.
Class trait: Wizards are never a priority target for the enemy.
The Wizard synergy effect does not apply to Druids.
How to play
Wizards are an amplifier for other synergies: (2) adds one piece to every synergy that already has three or more pieces, and (4) lowers the threshold requirements and can unlock the top tier right away. Wizards themselves are never a priority target, so they survive easily. There are few heroes: the cheap ones let you assemble (2) early, while (4) belongs to the mid and late game. The synergy is especially valuable for compositions that are one piece short of the next threshold; it does not apply to Druids.

Grimnotes - Endless Forest - Beginning
When I arrived in the Endless Forest, something interesting was happening here:
The Beast residents are influenced by abnormal negative emotions and there are small-scale conflicts happening here.
This may be from a Demon King, most likely Shadow Demon, whose power source is people's negative emotions.
The locals haven't found who is behind this, nor the difference between the power effects of a Demon King and normal demons.
The negative emotions resulting from a Demon King will take root on the spiritual level with far more severe impact than normal negative emotions.
I can feel that the growing negative emotions in some residents are about to explode.
A manager of this place, Warpwood Sage, plans to plant the holy tree of the Feathered to expel the demon power permeating the forest.
But I think simply planting the holy tree won't make the situation better.
The power of the holy tree is indeed magical, and I want to do research on it.
The holy tree they are going to plant can emit sacred mist to stabilize the emotions of the forest residents.
However, I am afraid they are unaware that the negative emotions stimulated by the Demon King will be deeply rooted in one's soul.
Of course, this is only my speculation. It is also my first time seeing the wrestling of powers between the holy tree and the Demon King.
This is unusual! I've decided to stay here longer for further observation.

Grimnotes - Endless Forest - Continued
After the holy tree was planted, the sacred mist enveloped the whole forest area.
But, just as expected, simply planting the tree can't dispel the negative emotions, or avoid the influences resulting from negative emotions.
Or I can just say, it's basically useless.
According to my observation, the holy tree indeed possesses the power to solve the issue here. However, the thing is that Warpwood Sage doesn't know about his enemy, the Demon King, and he couldn't give full play to the tree's power.
Interesting, the power of the holy tree of the Feathered, the power of the Demon King of my clan, the knowledge within these powers fascinates me and makes me want to know more eagerly.
Residents here don't want to see me and I shouldn't intervene in any of this. However, if the wrestling can't be in a balanced trend, I won't be able to continue with my research.
I had to show up to negotiate with Warpwood Sage.
Fortunately Warpwood Sage knew black from white. After discussing with local people, they agreed on my conditions:
I can build a Grimpalace here. Warpwood Sage will send some people who have lost their minds to Grimpalace for my experiment, and their safety will be ensured.
I will share the result with him to assist him in understanding the negative emotions and the Demon King power within it so he can learn how to use the holy tree to protect the forest.
In this way, I can continue with my research and conflicts here can also be eased.
Perfect […]
III
Grimnotes - Endless Forest - End
The Grimpalace has been built for a long time, located in the sheltered area of the sacred mist, a nice place for quiet research.
I have finally had some time to record my recent observations:
First, those losing their minds can still be interacted with in souls after being unconscious, however with an extremely fluctuating mood status, which makes it difficult to communicate. Yes, just difficult, not impossible.
Second, the negative powers brought by the Demon King can be purified by the holy tree in most phases, but if the infection reaches the highest level, the holy tree will not be able to eradicate the influence.
Third, I have created a special demon contract that can secure the life and conscience of the infected. But there will be consequences, for example, the appearances of the signatories will change drastically. We will need more time to examine.
In summary, my recent research in Endless Forest has been fruitful and worthy of recording.
Besides, those being saved by the contracts think I protected their lives and consciences and they began to live around Grimpalace.
That's also a good thing. I can continue to observe them.
When I left Grimpalace occasionally, I found they were protecting Grimpalace spontaneously.
It seems that the precious classics and research diaries I have obtained can now be placed in Grimpalace safely.
This is really a windfall. My academic research does need a regular "base" for preservation.
But for now, I have to continue to travel and conduct other research.
I'm not sure when I will return to Grimpalace. I hope I can bring back more useful things by then.
As for the cooperation, I undermined the plan of the Demon King of my clan... What a joke, I did it for knowledge! What does the matter of Demons have to do with me?
