FrostblazeDragon

Дракон ледяного пламени

Blazing Body / Frozen Pathactive, area, magical damage, cannot be dispelled

the dragon first breathes flames for 150 / 200 / 300 damage per second over 5 s, with burned enemies still taking damage for 2 s after leaving the zone, then the ability switches to a frozen path that forms in 0.5 s and freezes everything it touches. The path lasts 3 / 3.5 / 4 s and the stun lasts just as long, 6 / 5 / 4 s cooldown.

Role: an expensive late-game mage that alternates area damage with mass control from the back line. It shines in Dragon and Mage lineups that want to melt several enemies at once.

Synergies

Dragon · species
Synergy effect: (3) At the start of combat, 3 allied dragons have 100 mana (if there are more than 3 allied dragons on the board, the bonus goes to the dragons starting from the left side). (5) When combat begins, mana of all allies +100.
How to play
Dragon is a synergy about casting immediately: (3) gives three dragons full mana at the start of combat, so their skills go into the enemy right away, before any damage trade. The threshold is reached with mid-cost heroes in the mid game; place your dragons knowing the bonus is handed out from the left. (5) is a late build where the whole board gets starting mana, and it is especially strong with any heroes whose abilities decide the fight in the first seconds.
Winter ChiropteranShining DragonUmbraVenom
Mage · class
Synergy effect: (3) Reduces the magic resistance of all enemy pieces by 30%. (6) Reduces the magic resistance of all enemy pieces by 80%. (9) Reduces the magic resistance of all enemy pieces by 85%; in addition, at the start of the battle enemy pieces receive a debuff: they are frozen when they take magical damage. The freeze duration equals the actual magical damage taken divided by 300, in seconds. Class trait: each surviving allied Mage on the board grants Mages 10% mana, up to 60%. Freeze: the piece cannot attack, move, or use abilities.
How to play
Mages are a magical damage synergy: (3) noticeably lowers the magic resistance of all enemies, (6) almost removes it, and (9) adds a freeze on magical damage — a rare late-game option. The class is wide, with many cheap heroes, so (3) comes together in the first rounds, (6) in the mid game, and the top threshold is closed by expensive Mages. Mages need a sturdy front line in front of them, but their trait builds mana quickly while many Mages are alive on the board.

hero story

I

"It is true." Bayrison said solemnly to Frost, "You resurrected, under my experiment." Frost held his breath as he assumed this was a dream. Behind them, the cold air currents that had blown over the top of the snow-capped Dragon's Vein Mountain for millions of years swept upward. Frost had been used to this view when he was still alive. He loved this place - spending all day in the snow and wind, savoring everything he had experienced. If what Bayrison's frozen head said was true, it meant that his past was irrelevant, that he no longer needed to think or wait for anything to happen. But how could a life without a past embrace the future? He was waiting for Bayrison to lose his grip first, but a belly full of questions forced him to open his mouth. "Are you saying," Frost's anticipation wavered, "that my former consciousness has disappeared?" Bayrison sighed with relief as if he had been saved. He had expected Frost to be furious, but he was Winter Chiropteran, would he really be furious? "That's right, I tried, but I couldn't get it back. So I..." Bayrison paused for a moment, but the fiery head snapped, "We replaced your consciousness." Although he was prepared, Frost drew in a breath of cold air when he heard the truth come out of his mouth.

II

The stream of magicka passed through the experimental crystal that stored the soul like a bullet. The overload of energy blew the carrier to pieces, dissipating the magicka and soul into the air. By the time Bayrison and Frost had calmed down from the panic caused by the experimental accident, they fell into an awkward silence. "We'll have to try to decay the magicka." Bayrison muttered. He never asked, or even said a word to retain Frost, but the latter chose to follow him with only a brief moment of consideration. Although it was true that he had created, or to be precise, reset Frost's consciousness, his three heads could not figure out the reason why Frost had chosen him. He had also been wary of Frost's retaliation, but his suspicions had proved unnecessary - most of the time, Frost would run to the edge of the cliff to think, regardless of the weather. "I'll think of something," Frost said, "I'm guessing it's a slight deviation due to crystal purity, shall I adjust the data? I'm working on..." "You don't have to do anything." Bayrison's words carried an ill-timed arrogance, "I have closed the magicka channel. Do not conduct any more experiments recently." "Is that an order?" Frost asked, "I will strictly enforce it if it is." The silent alarm set Bayrison's nerves on edge, the earlier accident brought back memories of one of the countless experiments he had experienced. In that accident, Bayrison had lost his best friend. He would spend the rest of his life making up for that mistake.
