Trait: at the start of the battle, Witcher pieces are treated as Demons by the enemy. Witchers interfere with the enemy's Demon synergy count: if the opponent did not use a Demon mage to activate Wizard (4), a Witcher can additionally activate their Demons and break Wizard (4); if the opponent uses one Demon mage but cannot activate Wizard (4) because of Demons, a Witcher can switch off their Demon synergy and help activate Wizard (4).
How to play
Witchers are a narrow but unusual synergy: (2) lets all allied Demons count as creatures of one type, and (4) converts all allied damage into pure damage, which ignores the target's armor and magic resistance. There are few heroes and almost all of them are expensive, so these are mid- and late-game compositions; the thresholds are filled by heroes of different costs. Witchers naturally pair with Demons and with any heroes whose damage benefits from becoming pure.
